On behalf of TGI, I must extend my gratitude to the Rector UzNU and Dean of Law Faculty, who poured their tremendous efforts in pulling together this important conference.
It is with great pleasure and a sense of profound significance that I welcome you all to the ХVI International Scientific & Practical Conference "Transcarpathian Legal Readings." This gathering serves as a beacon of intellectual exchange and collaboration, bringing together scholars, students, and practitioners deeply engaged in the study and practice of law, particularly within the context of contemporary challenges and conflicts.
The conference theme, "Sustainable Development and Institutional Capacity in the Conditions of War: National and International Legal Aspects," encapsulates the pressing issues that confront our societies today. In an era marked by geopolitical tensions, globalization, and regional conflicts, the role of law as a stabilizing force and a catalyst for progress becomes increasingly paramount.
As we embark on this journey of exploration and discourse, the diverse panels of the conference promise to delve into multifaceted dimensions of legal inquiry. From examining modern challenges to the international order to exploring the transformation of national legal systems amidst war, globalization, and European integration, Plenary Session and other panels offer a unique vantage point from which we are to understand the complexities of legal landscape.
As we embark on this intellectual crusade, let us embrace the spirit of inquiry, dialogue, and collaboration that defines this conference. May our deliberations be marked by rigor, insight, and empathy, as we strive to advance our understanding of law and contribute to the pursuit of a more just and equitable world.
With that, I extend my warmest wishes for a fruitful and enlightening conference. Slava Ukraini.
