Brief Bio

Dr. Usongo Patience is an Associate Professor and Researcher in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social & Management Sciences at University of Buea, Cameroon. She has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and research. Her research involvements in management and conservation of natural resources using an integrated approach of policies, perception and practices, ecosystem services and human well-being, human dimension of climate change, variability and adaptation, environmental impact assessment, agricultural ecology, farming system analysis. She authored and co-author 22 technical publications. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Geography, Master of Science in Environmental Control and Management, and Ph.D. degree in Geography from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
