Dr. Yuliya Karpiuk is an Associate Professor of the Department of General (and Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. Ivano-Frankivsk. Ukraine. In 2004, she received a Bachelor's degree in «Psychology» and was awarded the qualification of «Psychologist» after completing her studies at the Philosophical Faculty of Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. In 2005, she completed her studies of the «Specialist» vocational at the Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk and received a Specialist's Diploma in the specialty «Psychology» with the qualification «Psychologist Teacher of Psychology». In 2013, she defended her PhD thesis in the field of «Pedagogical and age-related psychology» on the topic «The influence of Christian Morality on the Value-Oriented Sphere of Younger Schoolchildren» at the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky. Since 2013, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of General and Experimental Psychology of the Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. In 2014, she started working as Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Psychology where she is still working, During 11 years of teaching, she has developed and led training courses in various disciplines of «General Psychology», «History of Psychology», «Perinatal Psychology and Psychology of Motherhood», «Psychology of Religion», «Fundamentals of Logotherapy», «Fundamentals of Psychological Rehabilitation», and «Labor Psychology». Since 2022, she started working as a teacher also at the Department of Psychology and Social Security, Faculty of Pedagogical Technologies and Lifelong Education, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University where she developed and delivered lectures on the courses «Psychology of Behavioral Motivation», «Countering Negative Information and Psychological Influence», «Psychology of Personality», «Psychology of Deviant Behavior», «Psychological Service in Practical Spheres of Activity» and «Fundamentals of Psychocorrection». During her work, she prepared and published more than 17 scientific articles in professional publications, including several on Conservation & Environmental Psychology, and 4 articles in publications indexed by Scopus/Web of Science. She completed an international internship in Poland. She regularly participates in international conferences, publishes abstracts of reports in collections of conference materials in UK, Canada, Germany, etc. She manages the writing of students' course, Diploma and Master's theses. She conducts lectures and practical classes.
