Dr. Yiching Song is Senior Research Fellow at the United Nations Environment Programme–International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and also the Founder and Adviser of Farmers’ Seed Network (China). She obtained her PhD in rural sociology and rural development in Wageningen University in the Netherlands in 1998. Since 2000, she has been a senior researcher and program leader in Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also the founder and adviser of Farmers’ Seed Network (China) since 2013.
