Yanyan Zhang is a PhD Candidateat College of Humanities and Development Studies, China Agricultural University, and the Director ofthe North Office of Farmers’ Seed Network (China). Since 2009, she has focused on participatory action research, mainly followed agricultural biodiversity, climate change adaptation, women empowerment and rural community development. Since 2013, she joined the Farmers' Seed Network (China), mainly coordinated the work of FSN in the northern region. Since 2017, she continued to study for a doctorate in China Agricultural University.
