Xin Song is the Director of South west Office of Farmers’ Seed Network (China). Since 2014, she has focused on community-based participatory plant breeding and related action research to improve small-scale farmers’ resilience in SW China. She collaborates closely with farmers, researchers, and policy makers to build policy-practice-science linkage and to enhance farmers’ seed system that strengthens farmers’ capability, sustainable food systems and climate change adaptation.
