Dr. Viktoriia Bredikhina is Аssociate Рrofessor of Environmental Law at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She graduated from the historical faculty of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine. In 2005, she defended her PhD (Law) thesis on the topic «The right of citizens to a safe natural environment». In 2012, she was awarded the academic title of Аssociate Рrofessor and has been working at Department of Environmental Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She developed and delivers lectures and practical classes on the courses: «Еnvironmental Law», «Legal regulation of of natural resources management», «Legal regulation of the use of natural resources in economic activity». She regularly participates in international conferences, publishes abstracts of reports in collections of conference materials. She has published more than 90 scientific and methodological works, including scientific articles, abstracts, textbooks and study guides. Her core research addresses the general policy of sustainable development, legal support for environmental and resource safety, environmental management, economic mechanism of environmental protection. She is a member of the Ukrainian Union of Lawyers and the All-Ukrainian Environmental League.
