Dr. Valentyna Borkovska is a PhD in Economics and Associate Professor at higher educational institution «Podillia State University», Ukraine. She is Secretary of the Permanent Commission on Budget, Socio-Economic Development of Territories, Investment Activity, Industry, and Entrepreneurship in the Service Sector of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council. She is also a member of the NGO, "Institute of Socio-Economic Regional Studies" and member of the Coordinating Council of the Pilot Project (Program of USAID and the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine). She is working on the subject of accounting and information support for the sustainable development of the meat processing industry of Ukraine emphasizing the decentralization. Her practical recommendations are used by the local self-government bodies (e,g, Kamyants-Podilskyi City Territorial Community) and enterprises of the agrarian and industrial complexes in Ukraine.
