Dr. Tetiana Kovalenko has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. She is known scientist in the sphere of land law, agrarian law and environmental law, lecturer and attorney with more than twenty years of experience. She is an author of 400+ scientific and practical publications on problems of legal regulation of land, agricultural and environmental relations, including: monographs “Legal Defects in the Land Law of Ukraine” (2013) and “Realization of the principle of legality in the regulation of land relations in Ukraine: problems of legislative provision” (2017); textbooks on agrarian law of Ukraine, civil law of Ukraine, land law of Ukraine; comments to a number laws of Ukraine etc.
Dr. Tetiana is a Professor at the Department of Land and Agricultural Law of the Educational and Scientific Law School of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). She delivers lectures and workshops on “Ukrainian Agrarian Law”; provides special courses on “Legal Regulation of Economic Activity in Agriculture in Ukraine”, “Actual Problems of Agrarian Law”. Also Tetiana delivers lectures and workshops on “Ukrainian Land Law” and provides special courses on “Legal Protection of Land Rights”; guide preparation of graduation thesis on the problems of land law. Her practical experience includes advising in labor and commercial law (Scientific Institute), improvement of legislative basis of restructuring and bankruptcy in Ukraine (USAID Bankruptcy Project), legal support of non-agricultural land privatization processes in Ukraine (Ukraine Enterprise Non-agricultural Land Privatization Project / USAID), providing analysis of Ukrainian land legislation’s drawbacks (Rural Land Titling and Cadastre System Development Project/IBRD), assisting in Land Governance Assessment Framework (LGAF) Ukraine (International Land Systems (ILS) / WB).
