Nga, Ms. Pham Thanh

Ms. Pham Thanh Nga is a LLM researcher in Youth Academy, Hanoi 100000, Vietnam (Adjunct/Visiting Lecturer). She has done a master’s degree (LLM) from Vietnam National University. Throughout her career, she has received various fellowships for research and training (i.e., TTT of ADB, NUS-CIL Scholarship, KDI Fellowship). She has co-produced about 20 peer-reviewed articles in international refereed journals, and few more articles are under review. She won presentation of paper Award in 2020 by SOI (South Korea) and was awarded as the dedicated teacher in 2016 and 2018 by TOPICA. She has been involved in research and teaching programs in various subjects at Universities in Vietnam. She taught into B.Sc. business courses for 3 years at the Vietnam National Economics University and served the roles of training officer and Arbitrator/Mediator for the Hanoi International Arbitration Center. Further, she has been a member of Vietnam Society of International Law. For the last 15 years, she has been working with the Government of Vietnam, and is equipped with policy and practical knowledge and experience in environmental science and ecosystem management. She has a unique capacity to operationalize the science-policy interface through her long-served role as a researcher under the Government of Vietnam and a researcher in ecosystem services and natural resource management.
