Dr. Olga Donets is a PhD in Law Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Law of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University, Kharkiv, Ukraine. Her scientific interests include the study of current problems of legal protection of the environment; formation of a legal institute for the recovery of natural resources and complexes; legal provision of environmental safety requirements when using natural resources in the process of economic activity; greening of economic activity (green economy); use of Ukraine's natural resources in conditions of sustainable development and European integration processes (environmental and legal aspects); features of legal liability for environmental offenses; international legal regulation of recovery of natural resources and complexes and environmental protection; environmental policy of the EU.
From January 1, 2022 to June 2023 - participant-executor of the state-budget fundamental scientific research "Security environment of Ukraine: national and international legal aspects". In 2018, a participant-executor of a social research/survey within the project "Investigation of the legislative bases of India and Ukraine regulating the use of biological fertilizers and biocontrol agents in relation to Canadian products of microbiological origin" together with Dr. Hasrat Arjjumend and Dr. Konstantia Koutouki.
