Dr. Olena Zaiets is Associate Professor of the Department of Land and Agricultural Law of the Educational and Scientific Law School of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine).
In 1996, Olena graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Jurisprudence. From 1995 to 1997, she worked in the Legal Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine. In 1997, Olena Zaiets was a participant in The Sixth Training on Environmental Law and Policy, United Nations Environmental Program, Nairobi, Kenya. In 1999, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Legal Aspects of Land Reform in Ukraine". Since 1999, she has been working at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. From 2015 till presert she is a Member of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Educational and Scientific Law School, National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Legal Commission of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
