Prof. Dr. Hyunshik Moon is a full professor at the Department of Forest Environmental Resources, Institute of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Gyeongsang National University, Jinju, South Korea. Prof. Moon works in the areas of forest ecosystem management, forest production, plantation forest management, natural forest conservation, and sustainable utilization. Recently, he has been conducting research on the ecological characteristics and content of useful substances in natural habitats and planted lands for the expansion of cultivation of special trees such as medicinal plants. Professor Moon has published more than 100 papers in various fields such as forest ecology, climate change, species diversity, and soil characteristics, and is continuously working on his paperwork. He is also actively involved in various social activities such as the Industrial Complex Deliberation Committee and the Natural Landscape Deliberation Committee. Above all, with the philosophy that the main mission of a professor is education first, he passionately guides students to education and employment more than anyone else and is respected by students.
