Awodezi, Dr. Henry

Dr. Henry Awodezi is a Law Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State of Nigeria. Holder of PhD in Law from Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State in 2019. Obtained Master of Laws (LLM) Degree from Delta State University, Abraka in 2014. Served in Bayelsa State during National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2011. Attended the Nigerian Law School, Abuja and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009. Obtained LL.B (HONS) Degree from Delta State University, Abraka in 2007. Also did Diploma in Law (DIL) and Diploma in Computer (DIC) in Delta State University, Abraka and its Affiliation in 2001 and 2003 respectively. Hails from Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. Joined the Delta State Civil Service on the 22^nd November 2004 till date. Lecturer in the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, 2015-2021 and transferred service to University of Delta, Agbor in October 2021. Areas of specialization include; environmental law, law of contracts, administrative law, legal system, company law and family law. Published more than 23 Peer Reviewed Local, National and International Journal Articles in Law. Had special training in the following areas:

• Workshop on Pedagogical Training for young and intermediate Lecturers at the University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State - July 6, 2023.
• Workshop on Staff Research and Publication Skills Improvement for Visibility and Global Recognition at the University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State - September 15 & 16, 2022.
• Course on Advanced Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institutions at the University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State - February 28 – March 04, 2022.
• Handling Wrongful and Troublesome Staff Dismissals: (Managing Staff Disciplinary Exercises and Dismissals Without Prejudices and Court Challenges - The Institute for Administrative Reforms and Secretarial Studies) -2019.
