Mrs. Ellora Choudhury is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza, Assam, India. She has done Master’s Degree in Zoology with specialization in Fish and Fishery Biology from Gauhati University, Assam, India. She has also done PG Diploma in ‘Sustainable Development” from Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, New Delhi in the year 2007. She has got her MPhil in 2009 with a dissertation on “Breeding Biology of Asian Catfish Clarius batrachus in Captive Condition” from Gauhati University, Assam, India. Presently, she is a PhD Scholar in Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia, Assam, India. Her research area is Ornamental Fish and related works. She wrote a few research papers and review articles, and attended many national and international seminars and conferences.
