Dr. Elina Pozniak graduated from the Faculty of Law, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Jurisprudence in 1994. She has been working at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv since 1994 as an Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Law. In 2015 she received a second higher education at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Psychology. In 2006, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Legal aspects of the Implementation of Public Environmental Expertise in Ukraine". In 2010, she received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Labor, Land and Environmental Law.
Dr. Elina Pozniak conducts lectures and seminars in the disciplines "Environmental Law of Ukraine", "Problems of Land and Environmental Law", "Legal Problems of Environmental Expertise", "Problems of Environmental and Legal Responsibility", "Legal responsibility under environmental legislation". She is the supervisor of dissertation, master's and student research works.
