Tulina, Dr. Elbis

Dr. Elbis Tulina holds the academic title of associate professor and a Ph.D. in Law (Doctor of Philosophy in Law). She defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic of legal regulation of flora use and continues her research on various aspects of environmental law within the framework of theoretical and legal principles of environmental protection from harmful biological impacts, encompassing international, EU, and Ukrainian legislation. A specific focus of her research involves legal aspects related to the regulation of invasive alien species.

Since 2016, Elbis Tulina has been actively involved in academia, initially working as an assistant. Since September 2023, she has held the position of associate professor at the Department of Environmental Law at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. She teaches various educational courses, including "Environmental Law," "Legal Support for Environmental Safety," "International Environmental Law," and others. Throughout her academic career, she has prepared and published over 60 scientific works, including articles (published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, including Scopus/ Web of Science publications), abstracts of scientific reports, and contributions to monographs. In 2018, her individual monograph on "Legal Foundations of Plant Use" was recognized with a diploma of the 3rd degree in the "Monographs" category at the All-Ukrainian competition for the best legal publication.
