Dr. Asim Faraz earned the degrees of BSc (Hons) Animal Husbandry in 2006 with Silver Medal, DVM in 2007, MSc (Hons) Livestock Management in 2009 with Gold Medal and PhD Livestock Management in 2016 from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is serving as Assistant Professor in Department of Livestock and Poultry Production, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. He is President of Camel Society of Pakistan (CSP), Secretary General of Camel Association of Pakistan (CAP) & Pakistan Camel Club (PCC). He is also Executive Member & Public Relations Officer (PRO) of International Society of Camelid Research and Development (ISOCARD). He is acting as Focal Person of International Camel Organization (ICO). He has published more than 500 research papers/articles and contributed chapters in many books. He is decorated with Outstanding Scientist Award in 2022 by International Eminent Awards. His area of specialization is dairy, milk, meat, camel, nutrition and livestock management.
