Dr. Alla Pecheniuk is the Chairperson of the NGO "Institute of Socio-Economic Regional Studies", and an Associate Professor a Higher Educational Institution «Podillia State University», Ukraine. She is also the Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Policy & Governance and Member of the Editorial Board of Grassroots Journal of Natural Resources. Her core research addresses the general policy of development, economic assessment of tourist infrastructure facilities, agrarian issues, social entrepreneurship, etc. She is an invited expert at various levels of government: from national to local, and an Expert at the European Commission. She is Member of the Coordination Council of Public Activists under the Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi in Ukraine. Her practical recommendations are used in the activities of local self-government bodies (e.g. Kamianets- Podilskyi City Territorial Community), Podilski Tovtry National Park, National Historical and Architectural Reserve "Kamenetz", etc. She positions international cooperation as an important issue, with her openness to new knowledge and experience.
